Snow Similes

By Louisa Bartkovich (Age 9)
As white as a cotton ball
As soft as a pillow
Light as a feather
Swaying like a hammock
Cold as artic ice
Delicate like a bottle make of glass
As tiny as cells
As large as a period at the end of a sentence
Shapes like geometry
Dancing in the sky as blue as ocean blue paper
As graceful as the sugarplum fairy in the Nutcracker
Unique like a person
Glistening like the sun shining on water
As beautiful as the earth
As quiet as a tiger stalking its prey

Louisa, I love your poem! I'd love to be able to see those lovely silent flakes you describe. The tiger is wonderful...Miss you!
