I admit, I often wake up to find a small child's face staring directly into mine. Our night-time parenting does include sharing our bed on occasion with one or more of our darling children. But I draw the line at cockroaches. This morning, not 4 inches from my face was this not so little guy, walking calmly along the inside of our mosquito net. GROSS. Hopefully your wake-up call this morning was more pleasant!

Dear Barts,
Remember me? It has been six years since I spent a summer with you at CSB. I was Jennifer Dollar then - I got married last summer and my name has changed to Jennifer Heerman. I just found your blog through another link in a WHM newsletter. I'm excited to hear about your lives now. I think of Bundibugyo often, even dream I've gone back every so often. I'm glad to be able to keep up with some of the news there! I'm still in Nashville, TN - teaching kindergarten now. It's my third year of teaching, my second in K. My husband, who is a third year medical student at Vanderbilt, and I are planning to take a month-long trip to Peru with Mission to the World this July. We have a heart for international missions work, and we're excited to see where the Lord will lead us. You guys remain in our prayers. Thanks for the updates on how we can best lift you up.
